J2 has been making Mac users smile since 2003.
That’s why we’re here.
We want you to love your Mac. We want you to be relaxed and productive. We want your gear to work the way you like it, so it helps you do the things you need to do, and the things you love to do.
We are dedicated, patient, passionate, and professional. Since Jonathan Marcus began J2 in 2003, we have been the only server-rated, Apple-certified consultancy making San Antonio and South Texas a comfortable place for Mac users. Erick Tapia joined on in 2007, bolstering our broad range of services and specialties.
While we have backgrounds and schooling in design, photography, writing, editing, publishing, marketing, and management, we would prefer to teach our clients to fish rather than handing them a plate of sushi. We love nothing more than helping you learn to use your Mac to create the work and lifestyle that make you proud and happy.
Because we enjoy sharing the information that we have digested, which is why, in autumn of 2008, we began offering affordable group classes and workshops, which became immediately popular.
So, yes, we’re talkers. We Twitter and we blog. But we’re listeners, too. We have to be, so we know how you want your tech to fit in your environment and your workflow. We want to know your interests, and to hear about the parts of your computer you perhaps don’t care about, or those you’d prefer to keep out of sight and out of mind.
In our spare time, we raise kids, grow gardens, cook, play games, make music, admire art, take pictures, watch movies, dance, ride bikes …
… and live, drink, eat, breathe, and sleep Mac tech.
We read and listen to tech news all the time. We play with new software and hardware. We buy Apple gear so we can hack it and figure out what it wasn’t built to do. And that’s just for fun.
And we love our job.
