The Best Way

Our customers can get the best rates for our premium, personalized service by purchasing time in advance.

Please start by visiting our Play | Work | Sync online store.

Once you’ve made your purchase, you can see our availability and choose time for your appointments on our Scheduling page. Or email help@jjmarcus.com to start a Help Desk ticket that our whole team will be able to see.

The more time you buy in advance, the better the price. This pre-purchased time never expires, and can be used for on-site or remote support, or consultation by phone, email, or chat.

We provide unscheduled support exclusively to clients who own some pre-paid time with our Lead Consultant.

The Traditional Way

We are also happy to use conventional invoicing at the following rates:

Workstations, networks, and mobile devices:
 Businesses — $140/hour
Home users and non-profit organizations — $120/hour

Server & hosting administration, and Lead Consultant time with Jonathan:
 Businesses, homes and non-profits — $150/hour

If we are in your office, we bill at business rate. When we work in your home, we use home rates. Home-based businesses using more than 2 computers will be billed at business rate.

To retain the option of getting support outside scheduled appointments, please consider purchasing time with our Lead Consultant at our online store.

 

Some notes about billing

For on-site visits, we ask a minimum of 1 hour, after which we pro-rate our time. We also charge the same rates for support by phone, email, IM, texting, or remote screen sharing — and there is no minimum for these services.

While we prefer not to give quotes for a certain project, we will do our best to estimate amount of time it will take to finish a project, based on the scope and details we discuss.

We charge travel time outside of Loop 1604 in San Antonio. Travel rates are billed at half our hourly rate.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to a scheduled appointment. A fee will be incurred if cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to an appointment.
