Workshops

Since fall of 2008, J2 Consulting has been conducting group workshops on using the Mac, the iPhone, and technology in general. We intend to give everyone a comfortable environment and an affordable means to learn to make sense of technology, learn to put it to use, and work with a group of peers to better understand how to get what they need out of this wide, wonderful, wireless world of 0′s and 1′s, computers and cameras, phones and antennas, blogs and text messages. 

We have conducted labs on iPhoto and image management, becoming an iPhone power user, and the essentials of using a Mac. We’ve held these two-hour sessions at a lovely restaurant. We include a fantastic lunch in the fee for the lab, to help people fit some education into  their busy lives.

We also plan to cover some advanced topics: Networking 101 and how the Internet fits together. More intensive photo management to make your sharing easier in the long-term. Graphic design. Music-making. You’ll be amazed at what your Mac can do!
